For the first time in my life I have a bright smile, straight teeth, and I can eat all foods. This is something I have not been able to do in sometime! During the dental process it seemed to be a long procedure, but it has been worth every moment I have invested in this treatment. I would do it all over again!

The satisfaction of finally having 'My own teeth' goes beyond words. The staff was absolutely wonderful during this whole process and as for Dr. Kupeyan, he is a wonderful doctor - caring, kind and always took whatever time was needed. A truly wonderful team!

Dr. Kupeyan and the staff at Smile and Body have changed my life! When my treatment started just over two and a half years ago, I had already had braces twice (with terrible results) and was suffering from daily headaches and migraines. Not to mention that I rarely smiled, and my self confidence was low when I did smile. When I found out that the best option for treatment was "reverse" braces (creating two 7 mm gaps on either side of my front teeth) and implants, I wasn't exactly thrilled. Dr. Kupeyan explained that this treatment would not only fix my teeth but it would help with headaches and migraines. I don't think I have the words to thank Dr. K and Mara. Mara took care of the orthodontic portion of the treatment; she was kind, patient, and always answered my 'stupid' questions with words that I could understand.

No pain, no gain was our motto, and she definitely made the process a lot easier and I'll even admit now a little bit fun. She truly cared about the outcome of my procedure and explained everything she was doing and why. The fact that she was willing to come in on a Saturday for an appointment speaks volumes about the care and dedication that the staff at the office have for their patients. Three years ago you wouldn't have caught a big toothy smile on my face, now I can't stop smiling, my teeth are constantly on display. Mirrors are my new best friend and on top of that my headaches are gone! I never expected that the results would not only change my teeth but would also change the shape of my face in ways that I never would have imagined. Not only is Dr. K outstanding in what he does, his office staff go above and beyond too. Sue and Dana would juggle appointments for me, changing them to work with my schedule.

Jana was always there for a few moral boosting words when I needed them the most. Cheryl and Lisa held my hands through all the hard parts (including multiple impressions!) Now I have people stop me on the street and tell me how beautiful my teeth are, I never dreamed I would be that girl. I would recommend Dr. K to anyone in need of reconstructive dentistry. I wasn't a fan of the dentist three years ago, now I miss my every two weeks appointment. I will continue to go to Dr. K for any dentistry I will ever need in the future, not that I will need much more than a cleaning because they've done such a wonderful job! I can't thank you enough for making my dream a reality and giving me my smile back.

Having completed my treatment with Dr. Kupeyan and his competent, caring team, I'm now able to enjoy eating everything again and I have no more dental pain. Friends and family notice I smile more frequently, which I do, because I'm no longer embarrassed by uneven, discoloured teeth. I can speak and smile with confidence I can't tell you how thankful I am to laugh without my teeth falling out. The bones in my jaws were badly deteriorating. No amount of adhesive would allow me to eat without it oozing into my mouth.

The decision to get implants was not difficult when I knew it was my survival solution. I had a hard time because I had to have bone transplanted from my hip to my face. A good smile is one's calling card and speaks before words do, so it seemed natural to have Dr. Kupeyan rework my smile to reflect how I felt inside. Wow, am I smiling now. I have the greatest laminates and beautiful smile, that reflect my dazzling personality. Along with that winning smile comes regular dental care, and Dr. Kupeyan's staff is the best. For me Cheryl maintains my teeth with excellent care and keeps my smile on track. It is just as important to care for the teeth routinely, as it was to have cosmetic dentistry. -in fact it may be more important to have regular after care. I love that clean, fresh feeling after Cheryl cleans my teeth! She is attentive and remembers our last conversation. WOW!

Each time I cross the border into Canada for a dental visit, the border control asks the nature of my visit, and when I tell them that I am having a dental check-up they look puzzled. They ask if there aren't dentists in the city where I live. I respond by telling them that there are plenty of dentists, but Dr. Kupeyan does business in Windsor, and I wouldn't go anywhere else - it's worth the drive - then I flash a smile at them. So far it gets me across the border!

I feel more confident when eating and smiling since I have had this dental treatment. I am a lot more comfortable than when I was wearing dentures. My advice to others would be to not be afraid to have treatment done as the dental team makes you feel very welcome. They will show you around the office on your first visit. I thought Dr. Kupeyan and his team were very professional, friendly and easy to talk to. I enjoyed the experience of having the treatment although it seemed long, it is worth it in the end. I would like to add that you are never told by ordinary dentists about bone loss. I went to three different dentists with problems and they never said that I had bone loss and they just kept on making me new dentures with different linings. You would think they would know about this being dentists. I was never referred to anybody else until I came to Canada. It is a pity to go down this road and never be told especially when you are in pain.

The one big change is that it does not bother me to have my picture taken. People who have not seen me for a while ask me, in a positive way, what is different about me.

Before, my teeth never showed when I smiled, now they do! Extemely happy!

My biggest testimony is that very few people knew that I was having it done and they all say it looks natural. I meet a multitude of people every week - they haven’t noticed, again because there was no big obvious change. Natural. . . I like that!!

I must say I was a bit apprehensive when starting this implant procedure but you and your friendly staff made the experience as pleasant as can be expected under the circumstances. I always felt that I was in the hands of eminent experts in this field and I am most happy with the results.

I have had my implants for 20 years and couldn’t be happier with them. I’ve never had any problems with them whatsoever. I’ve had no regrets and would definitely do it over again. Dr. Kupeyan and his team are excellent: always professional and striving to satisfy to 110%.

Imagine having a denture that rivals George Washington’s for size. Imagine that it drops every time you laugh or sneeze. Imagine that it cracks own the middle (even though it has been fortified with a metal palate), if you bite into a carrot stick. For me, it did not require imagination: it was reality. I would like to extend to your association a letter of admiration from me regarding your member, Herman Kupeyan. He was referred to me when I lost a front tooth almost 20 years ago. This tooth was one of my many that had fallen victim to my childhood diet and poor preventative care. In those days, if the tooth did not hurt or break off, it was OK. My family dentist told me that I would be lucky to have any teeth left when I graduated from High School.

Well, I had lots of teeth left but they were in very sorry shape when I got to Dr. Kupeyan. He wanted to get them all back in shape, but I simply could not afford it at the time-raising my three children and getting back into the profession of teaching. We worked at each section of my mouth over the next 12 years and now I have pain free chewing and a good smile.

I would be willing to swear that my smile has allowed me to fully pursue my career in education and be a more confident individual.

I just retired as an elementary school principal and had a portrait put up in the Principal’s Hall of
Fame at my school. It was a full 11X17 and did I ever show off those teeth. I have attached a copy so that you can appreciate one of your member’s skills.

For a long time I have had a darkened tooth due to a childhood injury and a root canal. Over the years the tooth and bone underneath has weakened to the point where I was very careful not t bite down hard on anything. In pictures it was evident that my front tooth stood out. On the advice of my dentist he suggested I look at removing the tooth and replacing it. He recommended Dr. Kupeyan.

At first I was hesitant, but soon felt that I had the best team assessing my situation. Dr. Kupeyan and his dental team listened to me and delivered the right solution. I had orthodontics done to slowly remove my tooth to build bone mass for and implant and at the same time align my teeth for better overall bite. It took some time getting use to the braces. I had much encouragement from Mara, and I must say that she demonstrated a passion for what she does and her attention to detail was really appreciated. A trait I found in many of Dr. Kupeyan’s staff. Furthermore, the other procedures including the implant went very smoothly and progressed to a steady timeline.

I would say that having all the right expertise, equipment and people in the same office made this procedure much easier. This is what in our industry we would call a “full service supplier. ”
On a personal note, I am now more aware of my overall bite and teeth health. I feel I have a stronger tooth for better functionality and of course I am more confident in taking pictures these days.

After many denture replacements, my wife started telling me that my teeth clattered like dishes in the cupboard during an earthquake. It was a very long process because of my bone loss but now I can laugh, eat without problem and most of all, my wife enjoys the quiet!!!!

My life has been changed dramatically. Not only do I have a wonderful smile now, but I do not suffer from TMJ pain any longer. I have suffered with headaches and pain for the past 25 years. I was very apprehensive starting this journey. Dr. Kupeyan and the staff assured me that the end product would be worth every moment I spent in the chair. I started with orthodontics on top and bottom and Mara was amazing. She was very patient and caring while I went through this process. While my teeth were being aligned I went to Dr. Armstrong in London and had jaw surgery. I looked at this as an opportunity to loose a few pounds.

The surgery went well and I have never looked back. Dr. Kupeyan then performed his magic and I received new crowns (I had crown lengthening surgery also). I had lost all my natural teeth by my mid twenties,
and as a result endured the instability of dentures, then implants and various procedures which heart breaking for me would fizzle and fail. I was told that, “It was as good as it gets. ”

Desperate and perhaps chasing a fantasy, I sought out a prosthodontist. There was none in my city.

Nov. 2006 was my initial consultation with Dr. Kupeyan. I was afraid to be hopeful. Dr. Kupeyan had given me hope. He said he could help me and that I would be pleased.
